October is SIDS Awareness Month!
5K Family Run/Walk – PreRace Events begin at 2pm and race begins at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012.
Course Description: A course that showcases beautiful Coeur d’Alene, ID along the centennial trail.
Registration and Fees: Proceeds benefit the Inland Northwest SIDS Foundation. The race is only $25. Preregistration guarantees shirt.
T-Shirts: Pre-registered runners receive shirts with packet pick up. Late and/or race day registrants will receive shirts as supplies last.
Packet Pick Up: You may pick up your packet Saturday October 6 from 11am to 6 p.m. at The Body Shop in Riverstone or Sunday afternoon, October 7, 2012, starting at 2 p.m. at the Riverstone Gazebo.
Other Information: Runners/Walkers will be provided with water and a selection of healthy food to snack on pre and post race. There will be an aid station positioned at the turn around point that will provide water to participants.
Remembrance Ceremony: There will be a remembrance ceremony beginning at dusk and lasting approximately one half hour.
Cancellation Policy: The Run for the Angels will proceed rain or shine. Cancellation will occur only in conditions deemed hazardous by the officials. No refunds will be given.
Silent Auction: Silent Auction begins at 2 p.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m.

Along with getting some exercise, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our silent auction and crib bumper drive.
Why bring a crib bumper? Because we want to get RID of them in our community because of the danger they pose to infants as a SIDS and SUFFOCATION risk! For every bumper you bring to the race, you will receive a raffle ticket to enter into an awesome drawing. Be sure to check thrift stores and yard sales to find them!
